Revolution!	Survive, my little pixel!	Nivram League Warriors
Create your own universe playing as a Nordic, Greek or Egyptian God! Throw the planets and make them orbiting around the stars, creating unique universes. Revolution! is a puzzle game designed to run on mobile devices (you can find the link to download the PC/Mac version below). Developed in one semester by a team of five programmers at the "Videogame Design and Programming" course by Politecnico di Milano. It is written in C# using Unity3D game engine. You can find its trailer and download links below. Video Download for Windows Download for Mac You're a small pixel in a simple image. Your life is soooo booooring.. But, wait a second, what is going on? Some sort of robots are invading your beautiful image?! Fight against them and save it!! Defend your image as much as you can and gain the highest score!! Survive, my little pixel! is a 2d shooter game designed for PC/Mac. I am the only developer and I created this game in three days for the Ludum Dare 23 competition (the theme was "Tiny World"). It's written in C# using Unity3D game engine. Below you can find the trailer and the playable web version of the game (in order to do this, you will need to download the unityWebPlayer plugin). Also, this is the link to my entry on the Ludum Dare site! Video Play Compete in the Nivram League! Gain fame, make money and acquire robot's components. In this huge universe you can create your own Co.R. (a robot) choosing the components you prefer (legs, arms, weapon, etc.). Then, create a corporation with your friends and fight with them in the arena against other players! Nivram League Warriors is a sci-fi MMORPG designed for PC/Mac. Developed in one semester by a team made of three programmers, one 2d Artist and two 3d Artists at the "Online Game Design" course by Universita' degli studi di Milano. Escapalism	Super Metal Bro	Ogre Simulator 2015
Here is the thing: this world is minimalist! Everything is black or white. So, what you need to do is find the maze's exit as fast as you can preserving the world's minimalism! If you don't, you will have to face the guardians' rage. Escapalism is a 3d shooter game designed for PC/Mac. Your goal is to find the exit of a maze procedurally generated. Developed in three days by a team made of four programmers and one 3d Artist for the Ludum Dare 26 competition (the theme was "Minimalism"). It's written in C# using Unity3D game engine. Nevertheless, your goal is to kill all the enemies in each stage, fighting them using a weapon that is affected by your robot's emotions! Super Metal Bro is a 2d shooting game designed for PC/Mac. Developed in two days by a team made of three programmers and one 2d Artist for the Global Game Jam 2014 competition. It's written in C# using Unity3D game engine. Our wife has left us something to do.. again!!! Can we manage to coordinating ourself to accomplish each task? Or we will fall such as the last time? Ogre simulator 2015 is a 2 players co-op party game for Windows, OS X and Web Player (best experience with Xbox360 controller). You're a two headed ogre, and each player controls one of his heads. This means that a player controls the left ogre's arm and the second player controls the right arm. Developed in two days by a team made of four programmers, two 2d Artists and one Sound Designer for the Global Game Jam 2015 . It's written in C# using Unity3D game engine. My Thesis
Match balancing is one of the most important design issues in the development of a competitive multiplayer shooter. In this thesis we approach this issue creating maps aimed to balance differents player skills and strategies. Our maps are generated using genetics algorithms with a simulation-based fitness function. This fitness function evaluates results gained from matches played by two bots (with different skills/strategies) on the generated map. At the end, we shown that it's possible, using the procedural content generation, create maps that balance the different player skills/strategies.
